GRAVAL Bikepacking Adventure

GRAVAL Bikepacking Adventure is a self-supported gravel ultracycling event that explores the remote landscapes of Valencia, Cuenca, and Teruel in eastern Spain. Organised by GRAVAL, the event combines rugged gravel roads, quiet secondary roads, and mountain terrain into a challenging yet accessible ultra-distance adventure.

The 2026 edition starts and finishes in Valencia, Spain, covering 400 kilometres with approximately 7,000 metres of elevation gain. Riders follow a fixed GPX route across remote gravel tracks and little-travelled roads, with a 60-hour time limit to complete the challenge. The event is open to both gravel bikes and mountain bikes, making it an ideal first step into ultra-distance bikepacking.

GRAVAL follows a strict self-supported philosophy. Riders are responsible for their own navigation, food, accommodation, and mechanical repairs, with no outside assistance permitted. Success depends on careful pacing, smart resupply planning, and the ability to manage fatigue over two and a half days of continuous riding.
