Further Unceded

FURTHER – Unceded is a self-supported gravel bikepacking adventure through the rugged wilderness of British Columbia, Canada. Organised by FURTHER, the event showcases remote forestry roads, alpine climbs, and vast backcountry landscapes, offering riders an authentic wilderness experience far from busy roads and populated areas.

The route covers 560 kilometres with approximately 11,000 metres of elevation gain, starting and finishing in Pemberton, British Columbia. Riders follow a fixed GPX route across a demanding mix of gravel roads, doubletrack, and remote mountain terrain, passing through the traditional territories of several First Nations while experiencing some of Canada’s most spectacular natural scenery.

FURTHER – Unceded follows a strict self-supported philosophy. Riders are responsible for their own navigation, food, accommodation, and mechanical repairs, with no outside assistance permitted. The event encourages participants to travel responsibly, respect the land and local communities, and embrace the challenge of riding through truly remote landscapes.
