Two Continents – Piste/Track is the off-road counterpart to the road route, taking riders on a self-supported bikepacking expedition from Europe to Africa across remote gravel roads, desert pistes, mountain tracks, and forgotten backcountry routes. From the Bay of Biscay to Morocco’s Atlantic coast, it offers one of the world’s most adventurous ultra-distance gravel challenges.
Starting in Irun, Spain, and finishing in Sidi Ifni, Morocco, the Piste/Track route covers approximately 4,125 kilometres with around 65,000 metres of elevation gain. The route follows the Iberica-Traversa Gravel & Trail across Spain before crossing the Strait of Gibraltar into Morocco, where riders tackle the Rif Mountains, Middle Atlas, High Atlas, rocky desert tracks, and vast wilderness on their way to the Atlantic coast.
Two Continents – Piste/Track follows a strict self-supported philosophy. Riders are responsible for their own navigation, border crossings, food, accommodation, and mechanical repairs, with no outside assistance permitted. Available in solo and pair categories, the event has no time limit, allowing participants to experience the journey at their own pace while embracing the spirit of true expedition bikepacking.
Blending technical off-road riding, huge mountain passes, and the raw beauty of two continents, Two Continents – Piste/Track is one of the toughest gravel bikepacking adventures ever created. It is an unforgettable crossing for riders seeking remote landscapes, complete self-reliance, and an epic journey from Europe to Africa.
