Schleudergang Eintausend

Schleudergang EINTAUSEND is a non-commercial, self-supported all-road ultracycling event that connects Dresden and Nuremberg on a challenging journey through the mountains of eastern Germany and western Czechia. Built around community rather than competition, the event welcomes riders looking to test themselves on a thoughtfully designed route without the pressure of podiums or prize money.

The flagship route covers approximately 1,000 kilometres with around 20,000 metres of elevation gain. Riders can choose to start in either Dresden or Nuremberg, following a fixed route to the opposite city before returning, while shorter 500 km options are also available. Along the way, the course traverses the dramatic landscapes of Saxon Switzerland, the Ore Mountains, the Eger Valley, the Fichtel Mountains, and Franconian Switzerland, combining quiet roads with gravel sectors and forest tracks.

Schleudergang follows a strict self-supported philosophy. Riders are responsible for their own navigation, food, accommodation, and mechanical repairs, with no outside assistance permitted. A unique feature of the event is the shared Czechpoint, where riders from all routes meet before continuing their respective journeys, creating a memorable sense of community in the middle of the challenge.
