What to Expect on Karukinka Gravel Race

The Karukinka Gravel Race will take you to discover one of the least explored paths by humankind in a pristine and unspoiled natural setting, the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego Island.

Our main objective is for you to reach places where very few have been, in a territory that opens up to the world and reveals its hidden beauty. This territory has only been there for a few, but thanks to the efforts of pioneering individuals, will in the future become one of the most iconic tourist destinations on the far side of the earth.

The race takes place primarily on the Vicuña-Yendegaia Route, a path forged by the Military Labor Corps (CMT), which for years has been in charge of building the land route that will connect the Strait of Magellan with the Beagle Channel through Chilean territory.
