What to Expect on The Gravelscape Ultra

The Gravelscape – Ultra takes riders deep into the wild heart of Jaén, Andalusia, on a demanding self-supported gravel bikepacking adventure. Combining remote mountain tracks, abandoned mining roads, olive groves, and dramatic natural landscapes, the route showcases one of Spain’s most diverse and least-explored cycling destinations.

Starting and finishing in Linares, Spain, the route covers 595 kilometres with approximately 11,000 metres of elevation gain. Riders follow a fixed GPX through the historic Linares–La Carolina Mining District, the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park, ancient forests, rugged mountain passes, and remote gravel roads, creating a demanding route that blends adventure with spectacular scenery.

The Gravelscape – Ultra follows a strict self-supported philosophy. Riders are responsible for their own navigation, food, accommodation, and mechanical repairs, with no outside assistance permitted.
