The Hungarian Divide is one of Hungary’s premier off-road ultra-cycling challenges, taking riders on an unforgettable self-supported adventure across nearly 1,400 km of the country’s most spectacular landscapes. Traversing mountain ranges, remote gravel roads, forests, and historic landmarks, it offers a unique way to experience Hungary from the saddle.
The self-supported format combines physical endurance with mental resilience, requiring riders to navigate, manage resources, and overcome challenges entirely on their own. Only the most prepared will reach the finish line, but success is measured by far more than position alone.
For those seeking a shorter but equally adventurous experience, the organizers also host Tour Horizont, another self-supported bikepacking event showcasing the beauty and diversity of Hungary.
Not everyone can be first, but everyone who completes the challenge is a winner.
