CPH–OSL Road is a self-supported ultra-distance road race that connects Copenhagen and Oslo, taking riders on an unforgettable journey through Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. As part of the Nordic Chase series, the event combines fast roads, scenic coastlines, dense forests, and rolling Scandinavian terrain beneath the endless daylight of the Nordic summer.
The route covers approximately 730 kilometres with around 5,200 metres of elevation gain, starting in Copenhagen, Denmark, and finishing at Vippetangkaia in Oslo, Norway. Riders follow a fixed GPX route through the Danish countryside before crossing the Øresund by ferry from Helsingør to Helsingborg. From there, the course heads north through Sweden’s forests, lakes, fishing villages, and quiet coastal roads before crossing into Norway for the final approach to Oslo.
CPH–OSL Road follows a strict self-supported philosophy. Riders are responsible for their own navigation, food, accommodation, and mechanical repairs, with no outside assistance permitted. The event features a 103-hour time limit, rewarding efficient pacing and smart decision-making while remaining accessible to both experienced ultra racers and riders tackling their first multi-day road event.
With smooth tarmac, spectacular Nordic scenery, and an international point-to-point format, CPH–OSL Road offers a unique road ultra experience. From Denmark’s coastal landscapes to Sweden’s endless forests and Norway’s dramatic approach to Oslo, it is an unforgettable ride through the heart of Scandinavia.
